Facebook wants to be in the middle of your free Wi-Fi

Like to surf the Internet using free Wi-Fi at the local coffee shop? You might soon find that you are asked to check in via Facebook for the privilege.

Facebook Wi-Fi might be coming to your favorite free hotspot soon. It'll ask you to check in to the business' s Facebook Page in order to access the free Wi-Fi. Using Facebook Wi-Fi can result in posts of your location to your timeline, even automatic posts in future visits. Find out what this means and how you can control your privacy settings.
